Blackrocks Brewery Approved by City to Start Expansion Process

Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Marquette brewery has been granted approval by the Marquette City Commission to proceed with their expansion plans.

At last night’s meeting, the Commission approved a request from Blackrocks Brewing, LLC, to allow them to secure the necessary state licenses to begin off-site production of their microbrews for general distribution at the former Coca-Cola bottling facility at 950 West Washington Street in Marquette.

Blackrocks Brewery operates out of a brewery and tap room located at 424 North 3rd Street in Marquette. The brewery has also been expanding the 3rd Street location in the last several months.
