MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Gwinn Area Community Schools will soon be working to find a new superintendent.
Gwinn School Board President Gloria Bigelow says the board received a letter of resignation from Superintendent Kim Tufnell. The resignation goes into effect June 30.
In a statement released to the media yesterday, Bigelow says the District Board of Education is planning to schedule a special meeting ASAP to accept Tufnell’s resignation letter. The Board will then begin working to fill the position.
