Two-Vehicle Crash in Chocolay Township Sends Three to Hospital

Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Three people were injured in a two vehicle crash yesterday afternoon in Marquette County’s Chocolay Township.
The accident happened around 3:45 p.m.on U.S. 41 at the Michigan Welcome Center in Harvey. Chocolay Township Police say a car leaving the Welcome Center parking lot pulled into the path of a northbound vehicle.
Reports say the people injured were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No names have been released at this time by police. The driver of the car that caused the accident was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
