Five Arrested In Pair Of Delta County Meth Busts

Escanaba, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Five people have been arrested following the discovery of two separate meth labs in Escanaba.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team says the first lab was located Tuesday night on the 3100 block of 14th Ave South.

35-year-old Lee Nelson and 30-year-old Boyd Nelson have both been charged with Operating/Maintaining a Meth Lab.

The identity of the third person arrested is not known at this time.

Around 12:30 a.m. yesterday, UPSET detectives seized a second meth lab at a residence on the 300th block of South 18th Street.

Two people, Stacy Marie Osby and Jennifer Lynn Verbrigghe, both of Escanaba, were charged with Operating/Maintaining a Meth Lab.

All five people are lodged at the Delta County Jail.
