MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Police at the Negaunee Post responded to a structure fire last night around 6:00 at the former K.I. Sawyer Air Base.
The fire was reported in a four-stall garage near 329 Commando Street.
The unit was completely destroyed along with its contents. Troopers say two juveniles started the fire in one of the garages.
A report has been submitted to the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office for review. No injuries were reported in the fire.
