U.P. Man Extradited From Wisconsin In Drug Case

    Ironwood, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A western U.P. man was arrested in Wisconsin on a series of drug possession charges.

    Authorities say 28-year-old Donald Kirby of Ironwood Township was arrested in Hurley, Wisconsin and lodged at the Iron County Sheriff department.

    Kirby was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Heroin and several prescription drugs.

    He was also charged with Possession of controlled substances within 1,000 feet from a school and Resisting and Obstructing an Officer.

    Kirby was extradited back to Gogebic County where he is currently lodged. Additional charges are expected.
