Calumet Man Dies of Electrocution

U.P._News_UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Houghton County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the accidental death of a Calumet man.

Deputies investigating the accident say a 38–year–old man was electrocuted around 11:00 a.m. yesterday while working with a group of people who were volunteering to make repairs to a home in the Brooklyn Location of Adams Township.

Reports say the man was setting up scaffolding when he was electrocuted by a power line and killed.
