One Arrested in Stephenson in Armed Assault Case, One at Large
MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A suspect in the recent armed robbery in Baraga County’s Covington Township has been arrested while a second suspect is still at large.
The first suspect in the case was arrested without incident yesterday at a residence in Stephenson following a tip to State Police. The second suspect is believed to be at large in Wisconsin. He is identified as 27-year-old Bernard Fish and is described as a Native American male with short black hair, 5’11” tall and weighing 185 pounds.
The vehicle used in the robbery in Watton last Thursday, a white Cadillac Escalade pickup truck, has been found by police and it is not known what vehicle Fish may currently be using.
The first suspect, whose name has not been released, is being held in the Baraga County Jail pending arraignment. If you have any information related to this case, please call your local law enforcement agency.
