Great Lakes Radio News UpdateMARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Negaunee City Police are encouraging residents to be cautious if they are approached by someone in their neighborhood who is selling magazine subscriptions.

The department says they have been receiving calls about door-to-door magazine sellers and the police cannot vouch for the validity of these offers and they could very well be scams.

Negaunee Police say the seller appears to be a woman on foot; however, previous calls indicated more than one seller possibly being transported around town by a green van.

Again, they are urging people to use caution if presented with these types of offers.
