Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News ) – Marquette City Police are looking for the public’s help in their investigation into a weekend hit and run accident.  Police say a car, believed to be a silver Pontiac Bonnevile, hopped a curb and hit a power pole at the corner of Fitch and Center Streets in Marquette.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. yesterday and the impact broke the pole and knocked down some lines.  Evidence on the scene, including several car parts, have police believing the vehicle would have substantial damage to the passenger side of the front of the car.
