State Representatives Meet In U.P. To Discuss Natural Resources

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – 108th District State Representative Ed McBroom is hosting three Natural Resources Town Hall meetings today and tomorrow in the U.P.

McBroom and Representatives Andrea LaFontaine and Aric Nesbitt are holding the first session this evening at Fornette Hall at Bay College West in Iron Mountain from 7 to 8 p.m. CT.

The other meetings will be tomorrow at Schloegel’s Restaurant in Menominee, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. CT and at the Heirmann Building at Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. ET.

McBroom says he invited House Natural Resources Committee Chair Andrea LaFontaine and other lawmakers for a discussion about natural resource policies in Michigan with a focus on the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund, which provides grant funds for public land acquisition and recreational development projects.
