Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Marquette man has been arrested on felony indecent exposure charges in connection with an incident at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
59-year-old Mark Axton Hammond was arrested on Friday on charges of aggravated indecent exposure and indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person.
Police say an investigation found that Hammond had allegedly exposed himself to a 24-year-old woman at the library last Wednesday.
The woman was able to identify Hammond from a photograph on the Michigan sex offender registry.
Hammond was arrested and is being held on a $2,000 bond at the Marquette County Jail.
