Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A pair of street closures will be in effect tomorrow in the City of Marquette.
First, West Bluff Street will be closed to traffic from Seventh Street to Morgan Street from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to accommodate the annual Firemen’s Parade and static display.
The annual display of area fire department trucks and equipment was originally planned for last Saturday, but was changed due to inclement weather.
Also beginning at noon and continuing through 10:00 p.m., Baraga Avenue will be closed to motor vehicles between Front Street and Third Street for the inaugural Baraga Harvest Festival.
The event will feature food and drink, live music and a street dance, chef demonstrations, children’s activities and more.
A detour route will be posted.
