Sheriff Credits Rescuers For Finding Lost Boy.

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A 10-year old boy in the Upper Peninsula was found last night after a four hour search.

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Department says Michael Getzloff was found in a structure less than a mile from his home.  The boy was first discovered missing at 5:30 last night. Police were called shortly after 7 p.m.

The search included 129 people and two K-9 units. A Coast Guard helicopter was approved to join the search but was unable to do so because of fog.

The boy was found just before 11:30 last night.  Menominee County Sheriff Kenny Marks credited the volunteerism of all the groups involved for finding the boy.
