Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) -  The Marquette City Commission voted last night to delay a final decision on a controversial proposed city road ordinance.

Commissioners said they are willing to put off a decision for 90 days as government and business stakeholders work to find and agreement that focuses on heavy truck traffic and road access in the city.

As part of the postponement, a public hearing on the proposed ordinance scheduled for tomorrow evening at City Hall in Marquette has been canceled.
