MAPS Board Of Education To Vote On Realignment Plan In December

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Area Public Schools Board of Education continued discussions of the possible realignment of elementary schools in the district last night.

The board has been considering the realignment of Cherry Creek, Sandy Knoll and Superior Hills elementary schools for some time due to spacing issues.

Also being considered in the plan is the future role of Bothwell Middle School as well as the Graveraet building.

After hearing the latest updates last night, the board decided a final vote on the realignment will be made at their meeting on Monday, December 2nd.
