Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Area Public Schools Board of Education is looking for public input on their possible realignment plans.

The board will soon be voting on whether to adopt a realignment proposal of K-5, 6-8, 9-12.

Included in this proposal is the potential to reopen Graveraet as a neighborhood K-5 elementary school.

Interested parents and other parties are asked to share their thoughts with MAPS Board members during the upcoming Parent/Teacher conferences or via email at schoolboard@mapsnet.org.

There is also an open house planned for later this month and folks are encouraged to tour Graveraet.

The open house will be held on two nights on November 25th and 26th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
