Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says they have responded to four reports of missing hunters since the start of the 2013 firearms deer season.

Search and Rescue officials recommend if you get lost to stay in one area and seek shelter.  Also, be sure to take a survival pack with you when you head out with matches or a lighter, some rubbing alcohol, first aid supplies and water.

They also encourage carrying a cell phone with a GPS tracking system to assist in your rescue.
