Ford Motor Company Announces Lincoln Recall

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Owners of 2013 models of the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will be receiving a recall notice soon.

Ford Motor Company is recalling around 73-hundred of the vehicles to reprogram the powertrain control module.

The company says the cars involved in the recall may not need to have the brake pedal pressed before shifting the car out of park.

The recall involves 71-hundred cars in the U.S. and the remaining models sold in Canada.

No accidents or injuries have been reported due to the problem.
