Marquette PD Arrest Three For Meth After Car Chase

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police report the arrest of three people on meth charges following a high-speed car chase.

Police say they arrests came after the chase around 2:00 a.m. Saturday.

The chase began in the area of McClellan Avenue and the US-41 bypass and ended on M-553 and M-94 with help from Michigan State Police.

Authorities discovered an active meth cook inside the suspect vehicle.

The driver, 20-year-old Jack Pelto, was arrested on charges of Maintaining a Meth Lab, Fleeing and Eluding and Driving on a Revoked License.

A passenger, 21-year-old Bobbie Joe Weymouth, was arrested for Maintaining a Meth Lab and an outstanding felony warrant for Armed Robbery.

Another passenger, 31-year-old Nathan Kotek was arrested for Maintaining a Meth Lab.

Police say no injuries were reported in the incident.
