Cold Snap Continues As Wind Chill Advisory Posted

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The National Weather Service in Negaunee has issued a Wind Chill Advisory from 7:00 o’clock this evening to noon tomorrow for Marquette, Dickinson, Menominee and Delta counties.

Wind chill values will fall to 25 below to 34 below zero tonight into Thursday morning inland from the Great Lakes.

Near the shores wind chill values will fall to 20 to 25 below zero.

Wind chills this low can cause frostbite on exposed skin within 20 to 30 minutes and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

Be sure to  dress warmly in layers and make sure to wear a hat and gloves.
