M-DOT Announces Road Projects Around The State

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation says a series of state and local transportation projects have been announced around Michigan that are being made possible through the $115 million Roads and Risks Reserve Fund.

A total of seven road projects in the U.P., MDOT’s Superior Region, total $6.9 million.

The projects, announced today, include a $4.1 million repaving U.S.2 from the Delta/Schoolcraft county line to M-149.

Other projects in Alger, Dickinson and Menominee Counties are being funded as well.

Over 100 additional road and bridge improvement projects throughout the state from the program were unveiled today.
