Wind Chill Warnings Remain In Effect For U.P. Through Tuesday

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The National Weather Service office in Negaunee Township says Wind Chill Warnings will remain in effect most of the U.P. until tomorrow afternoon.

    Blustery northwest winds gusting to 20 to 30 mph and very cold air will continue and wind chills will fall to 30 to 40 below zero today and to as low as 35 to 45 below zero tonight through tomorrow morning.

    Wind chills will fall to 25 to 35 below Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.  Prepare accordingly if you plan to go outside.

    Exposed skin can freeze within 10 to 20 minutes at wind chills as low as what are expected through tomorrow morning.
