Cold Snap Continues Across Upper Michigan

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Wind Chill Warnings and Advisories are in effect across the U.P. until this afternoon.

The National Weather Service Office in Negaunee says dangerously cold conditions over much of Upper Michigan will continue through tomorrow morning.

Expect wind chills of 30 to 40 below zero this morning in the west and central U.P.

For this afternoon through Wednesday morning, wind chills will be as low as 20 to 25 below.

Exposed skin can freeze within 10 to 20 minutes at wind chills as low as expected today.
