Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A tentative trial date has been set in the case of a Wisconsin man charged in the armed robbery of two Baraga County residents.

27-year-old Bernard Fish of Shawano, Wisconsin appeared in Baraga County Circuit Court yesterday for a pretrial hearing.

Fish, and an alleged accomplice, 21-year-old Donavan Lee Waupoose of Stephenson, Michigan, are charged in the armed robbery of two people in Watton in August of last year.

A four-day trial has been tentatively set to begin in April.  Fish is facing several felony charges in the case and a possible sentence of life in prison.

Another pre-trial conference will be held 30 days before Fish’s trial to consider motions to try Fish and Waupoose together for the crime.
