Baraga County Armed Robbery Suspects To Be Tried Together

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Two suspects allegedly involved in an armed robbery in Baraga County last year will be tried in court together.

A hearing in Baraga County Circuit Court this week has resulted in 21-year-old Donavan Waupoose of Stephenson going to trial with 27-year-old Bernard Fish of Shawano, Wisconsin.

The pair faces felony charges, including extortion, unlawful imprisonment, and impersonating a peace officer to commit a crime.

They allegedly robbed two Watton residents at gunpoint in August.

Waupoose and Fish both pled not guilty to the charges.  Waupoose was scheduled to have his trial later this month.

The combined trial has been scheduled for April 14th and is expected to last four days.
