Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The U.P. Regional Blood Center, a service of Marquette General, is currently in critical need of A-positive, A-negative, O-negative and B-negative blood throughout their Upper Peninsula service area.

The need is high in Marquette, Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.

All blood donated at the U.P. Regional Blood Center stays in the U.P. In Marquette you can donate at the U.P. Regional Blood Center at 427 West College Avenue, adjacent to Marquette General Hospital.

To schedule an appointment, call 225-4610.

You can also donate at Blood Centers in Escanaba, Hancock, Iron Mountain and Sault Ste. Marie.
