Marquette DDA Reschedules Baraga Street Meeting

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Downtown Development Authority says the Baraga Avenue Visioning Session that scheduled for last night has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    The session will be held at the Marquette Commons on Third Street.  The DDA recently received a MI Place Plan initiative grant for redesign assistance to Baraga Avenue.

    The effort is a collaboration between the Michigan Municipal League, the MSU Urban and Regional Planning Program, and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.

    The community is invited to attend and share input for the future development of Baraga Avenue.

    The project covers Baraga Avenue from Third Street to Lakeshore Boulevard.
