Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Police at the Negaunee Post responded to an early-morning single-vehicle rollover accident in Marquette County’s Michigamme Township.

The accident happened on eastbound US-41 near the Brown Road and was discovered by Troopers around 5:30 a.m.

Troopers say they found a 33-year-old Winterset, Iowa woman who was driving a 2007 Honda Civic that went out of control and rolled over in the ditch.

The woman, who was the lone occupant in the car, was taken to Marquette General Hospital for treatment of a broken arm and other minor injuries.

Her name has not been released, and Troopers say that controlled substance use may have been a factor in the crash.

The accident remains under investigation.
