Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Department of Natural Resources is reminding anglers in the state that they must have new fishing licenses before tomorrow’s start of the 2014 fishing season.

New regulations are going into effect tomorrow and all 2013 licenses are good only through today.

The D-N-R  says Michigan’s fishing licenses were restructured on March 1st.

Options range from a $26 annual license for state residents to $10 for a 24-hour license. Licenses are good for all species of fish.

Licenses are available at D-N-R customer service centers, from local retailers or online using the state’s E-License system website.
