Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Most of the Upper Peninsula will see several inches of wet, heavy snow, which will make travel difficult.

The Michigan Department of Transportation advised motorists to cancel their Friday travel plans if possible.

Spokesman Dan Weingarten in Ishpeming said that M-DOT plows, along with those from the region’s county road commissions, are working to keep at least the main highways passable during the storm.
