Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police are continuing their investigation into an early-morning weekend shooting incident.
Officers were called out to a residence on the 200 block of West Bluff Street around 2:30 a.m. yesterday on the report of a shooting.
Officers arriving on the scene found two people who had sustained non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Both were transported by ambulance to the Marquette General Hospital emergency room.
Reports say one of the men was a 34-year-old man from Illinois and the other was a 21-year-old Ishpeming man.
A 26-year-old Marquette man was taken into custody, but was released after further investigation.
No names are being released at this time.
