MI Wolf Management Council To Meet In U.P.

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan’s Wolf Management Advisory Council will be meeting tomorrow in St.Ignace.

At the session, staff from the D-N-R’s Wildlife Division will update the council on a variety of wolf management issues and gather input from council members regarding implementation of the Department’s Wolf Management Plan.

The council includes members from a diverse group of organizations with an interest in wolves and wolf management, including conservation, tribal governments, agriculture, hunting and animal advocacy.

The public is welcome to observe the council’s discussions.

The meeting is running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Little Bear Arena, located at 275 Marquette Street in St. Ignace.
