Three-Vehicle Accident Injures Two In Marquette

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police responded to a three-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon just after 3:00 o’clock at the intersection of Third Street and Washington.

Officers say a vehicle was stopped at the intersection for a pedestrian in the crosswalk when a second vehicle hit the stopped vehicle.

The first vehicle struck the pedestrian and another stopped vehicle.

Two people, including the pedestrian, sustained minor injuries in the accident and were taken to Marquette General Hospital where they were treated and released.

The driver of the second vehicle was found to be at fault and was ticketed.

No names have been released at this time.
