Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The City of Hancock Police Department will be receiving a new vehicle thanks to a USDA federal grant.

The city is slated to receive $15,000  through the Rural Development Community Facility Grant program.

The program funds infrastructure needs in rural communities across the country.

The grant funds will be used to help buy a new police vehicle to serve the community.
