M-DOT Hosts Public Meeting Tonight In Manistique

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting tonight in Manistique to discuss projects taking place in and around the city.

MDOT staff will be presnting on four major projects near Manistique.

That includes the resurfacing of 4 miles of US-2 from east of the Delta/Schoolcraft county line to M-149, replacing a culvert on M-149 at Dufour Creek, resurfacing 5.2 miles of US-2 from M-149 east to the Manistique River Bridge, and repairing a deck on the bridge.

The open house-style meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Manistique City Council Chambers.

Business owners, interested residents and motorists are invited to attend and discuss the projects one-on-one with MDOT staff.
