Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation will begin the resurfacing of a major portion of M-35 in Marquette County next week.

The project will resurface 21.5 miles of northbound and southbound M-35 from the middle branch of the Escanaba River to County Road 480.

M-DOT says the project will begin on Monday morning and is expected to be completed in late July.

Drivers can expect some delays during the effort due to some single-lane closures under flag control.
