Rapid River Man Arrested On Cocaine Charges

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team is reporting the arrest of a 60-year-old Rapid River man yesterday on cocaine charges.

The man was arrested on two counts of Delivery of Cocaine and one count of Conspiracy to Deliver Cocaine.

This arrest was part of an investigation that resulted in the arrest of a 62-year-old downstate Kent County man in Rapid River on May 23rd for Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine.

UPSET Detectives say the arrests are part of a three-month long investigation.

The case has been sent to the Delta County Prosecutor for review.

Additional charges and arrests are possible and no names are being released at this time.
