Man Sentenced For Stabbing Sheriff’s Deputy

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Dickinson County man convicted of the stabbing of a Deputy Sheriff the Pine Mountain ski jumps last year in Iron Mountain has been sentenced.

75-year-old Andrew Bray of Norway appeared yesterday in Dickinson County Circuit Court for sentencing on one count of intent to cause bodily harm less than murder and one count of carrying a concealed weapon.

Bray was sentenced on the first count to a minimum of 23 months to 10 years maximum with credit for 492 days already served.

On the second count, Bray was sentenced to a minimum of 23 months to five years maximum.

The sentences will run concurrently.
