Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A Red Flag Warning has been posted for today for all of Upper Michigan.
The National Weather Service says very warm and breezy conditions are expected which will lead to critical fire weather conditions over the U.P.
Authorities are encouraging residents to avoid burning today if at all possible.
The warning will be in effect until 8:00 p.m with stronger winds, dry conditions and low relative humidity for all of Upper Michigan.
Burn restrictions are in effect.
