Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) - Michigan Department of Environmental Quality Director Dan Wyant is continuing his tour across areas of Upper Michigan.  Wyant and State Representative John Kivela will tour the Founders Landing Brownfield Redevelopment tomorrow morning.  The site is a 25-acre parcel along Lake Superior in the City of Marquette.  The City and the DEQ invested more than $2 million to clean up abandoned fuel storage tanks that were on the site. It has now been redeveloped for commercial, residential and recreational use.  Wyant will wrap up his U.P. tour with the dedication of the DEQ’s new Upper Peninsula District office at 1504 W.Washington in Marquette tomorrow afternoon at 1:00pm.
