Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Department of Transportation says one lane of US-2 will be closed in Escanaba today and again at 8 a.m.Thursday for catch basin maintenance work.
The catch basins are at the railroad overpass near the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Escanaba.
The northbound lane is closed today, with work expected to be completed by Wednesday morning.
The southbound lane will be closed Thursday morning; that work is expected to be completed by Friday morning.
Motorists should expect single-lane closures of the outside lane with a traffic shift.
