Two Hurt In U.P. Motorcycle-Van Accident

    Forsyth Township, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Forsyth Township Police say two people were injured when a motorcycle was struck by a van yesterday evening.

    The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of M-35 and Johnson Lake Road when the van pulled out into the path of the motorcycle.

    A man and a woman riding the motorcycle were taken to UP Health System-Marquette and were treated and later released.

    The driver of the van was not hurt and was ticketed for Failure to Yield the Right-of-Way at a Stop Sign.

    No names have been released.
