Car Crosses the Median, Crashes into Holiday Gas Station

Marquette, MI – August 8, 2014 – Marquette City Police arrested one person for Operating While Intoxicated after a single vehicle accident in Marquette. The accident happened around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday when an eastbound vehicle on US-41 West left the roadway, crossed the median and the westbound lanes of US-41, crossed through the Bald Eagle Harley Shop parking lot and flew off an embankment, landing in the parking lot of the Holiday Gas Station. The vehicle hit a parked car, an ice machine and the Holiday Gas station building. No injuries were reported and no names have been released at this time.
