Au Train, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Fire destroyed an Alger County Fire Hall yesterday afternoon.
The fire was reported at the Au Train Township Fire Hall on 16 Mile Lake Road.
Reports say no one was inside the structure when the fire started, and no injuries have been reported, but a pumper truck and brush fire truck were destroyed in the blaze.
Officials with the Au Train Township Fire Department say all firefighting gear inside the hall was destroyed as well.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
