Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Police have arrested an Ishpeming man on a felony embezzlement charge.
49-year-old Steven Harvala was arrested and charged with one count of Embezzlement between $1000 to $20000.
The charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and/or a fine of $10,000 or three times the amount embezzled, whichever is greater.
Harvala was released on a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in 96th District Court in Marquette on September 2nd.
