Mackinac Bridge, MI - (Great Lakes Radio News) - About 30,000 walkers participated in the Labor Day Mackinac Bridge walk this year.  Just before Monday’s walk, about 350 runners celebrated the Pure Michigan FIT campaign and hit the bridge deck to promote and encourage healthy physical activity in communities throughout Michigan.

For the third year in a row, the Mackinac Bridge Authority and MDoT are asking the public to share their bridge walk experiences on social media with photos and videos.

One person sharing their memories will be chosen at random to receive a once-in-a-lifetime tour to the top of the Mackinac Bridge.

All details are available on the MBA website.
