Road Rage Suspects Arraigned On Felony Charges

    Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Three men arrested for a road rage incident Friday night in Marquette County’s Chocolay Township were arraigned on felony charges yesterday.

    59-year-old Jeremiah Murphy of Tennessee and 24-year-old Daniel Murphy and 21-year-old Patrick Murphy, both of Skandia, face one count each of unarmed robbery and assault with intent to rob while unarmed, which are punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

    The men were arrested in Marquette early Saturday for allegedly assaulting and robbing two other men.

    The incident began late Friday on US-41 when the victim and suspect vehicles pulled into a parking lot in Harvey where a physical confrontation occurred.

    Two men were assaulted and had items taken from them by the suspects, who then fled the scene.
