Ewen Man Arrested For Armed Robbery

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – State Police at the Wakefield Post responded to a report of a felonious assault yesterday afternoon just after 4:00 o’clock at a residence in Ewen.

Troopers say a suspect entered a home, held the homeowner at gunpoint and demanded money.

The suspect was not able to get any money from the homeowner and fled the scene.

The suspect was later identified as a 20-year-old Ewen man who was located by Troopers and taken into custody without incident.

The man was lodged in the Ontonagon County Jail on charges of armed robbery, home invasion and larceny of a firearm.

The man is being held without bond and his name has not been released.
