Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette City Commission is holding a series of public hearings tonight during their regular meeting.

The hearings are part of the process of voting on various proposals by the Commission and all interested residents are invited to speak.

The hearing topics include the Duke LifePoint brownfield plan related to the construction of a new hospital, a proposal to rezone city-owned property at Founder’s Landing for the construction of a proposed boathouse and an amendment to the city’s traffic ordinance.

The meeting begins at 7:00 o’clock tonight at Commission Chambers at City Hall in Marquette.
